The past few months have been difficult for Karla Hudson 's house full of girls in north Houston. After losing her job in October due to downsizing, Hudson, who holds a bachelor's in economics and a master's in business administration, tried applying for jobs everywhere she could imagine but to no avail. Although Ciara has been spotted out dresing her sculpted body in skin-tight designer gowns at a lot of 2011s most exclusive events, we havent heard much new material from the singer since the 2010 release of Basic Instinct . Mark (34), an architectural technologist from Newtownabbey, met Ciara (35), a human resources business partner from Bagnalstown, Co Carlow, back in 1996 at the old Jordanstown Inn in Whiteabbey. We met during the second semester of uni at the bar and I had to do all the chasing, Mark said. Ciara was in Belfast and I was at home and then, in 2001, we moved to Dublin and have been living together ever since. The high-speed ship is the latest in a series of vessels in the fleet which have required substantial repair due to a combination of age and rough Atlantic conditions. The oldest ships, the LE Emer , Aoife and Aisling , have all suffered plate erosion due mainly to age. The service is due to received two new ships at 50 million each, which will be commissioned in 2014 and 2015, under a deal with British shipbuilder Babcock Marine.

Ciara Parker, a senior setter at Snow Canyon High School, has earned Gatorade volleyball player of the year in Utah, the company announced today. The BYU-bound Parker fell short of a 3A title this year after the Warriors lost to Morgan in the 3A championship, but did set the all-time assists record in the state, notching 654 this year. She also had 276 digs, 127 kills, 70 aces and 47 blocks for the 26-4 Warriors. In her career, Parker helped Snow Canyon win three straight state championships. She will play libero next year at BYU. The Gatorade news release also cited her 3.85 GPA and volunteer experience as a coach as reasons for her selection. When reached for an interview, Parker's coach and mother, Alaina Parker, said the school would make a formal announcement Wednesday night at a Snow Canyon basketball game. *A film thats been sitting in the vault for several years is finally getting released via DVD. For whatever reason Mama I Want to Sing starring Ciara, Lynn Whitfield, Patti LaBelle, Hill Harper and Ben Vereen didnt get a lot of attention as in a theatrical release that were aware of when it was completed several years ago. Gregory scored 50 points in an 82-80 loss to Franklin Regional in the consolation game of the Franklin Regional tournament. Her output was one of the best by a WPIAL girls player in the past decade. Naje Gibson, Ciara Gregory and Erin Waskowiak won a national title together last summer, but this winter they'll fight one another for a different trophy. The three were AAU teammates for Western Pa. Bruins, which won a 15-and-under national title in Washington. They're also three of the best players in the WPIAL, where they star for different teams: Gibson at Seton-La Salle, Gregory at Jeannette and Waskowiak at Bishop Canevin. "The three of us bonded and were always together," Gregory said, "but we're competitive. And we all want to win for our team." Their teams are Nos. 1, 2 and 4 in preseason rankings.
