''People are always going to have something to say. I learn that more and more as I go along. Theres no other way than to build a tough skin for it because it doesnt stopA lot of times, when people talk about you, theres something wrong with them, and something that theyre insecure about.''

However the 'Work' singer did point out the positives from the criticism, saying,

''You gotta ride and be confident in what youre doing. When youre in your own world, you cant see all of that anyways. Its a given. Its better that they talk about you then not say anything."

''I am my biggest critic, and that opinion is the one that matters the most to me. Thats how I sleep and thats how I rest my head. If youre worried about every comment that someone said about you, you would lose your mind,'' continued the songstress.

One Woman Army, Ciaras fifth studio album which she co-produced, is the follow-up to 2010s Basic Instinct.
