News: Ciara Gets 'Real' and Embraces Flaws, Pain On New Album

Ciara has let her guard down on the anticipated album "One Woman Army."
Ready to connect with fans on an emotional level that led her to shedtears while recording "Sorry," Ciara says "being vulnerable is veryfreeing."
"I think it takes a lot of confidence to be comfortable in beingvulnerable. When I came into the business I was guarded because Imnaturally a private person. Cut to 10 years later and Im now lookingat life from a different point of view and embracing my flaws," saysCiara. "What better way to express that than through music? Real musicto me is real; its what you feel. Being vulnerable is very freeing;its almost like writing in a journal."
Selecting "One Woman Army" as an accurate statement of where she is nowin life, Ciara believes it represents independence.
As previously reported, Ciara will roll out the first major single(from the album) titled "Sorry" Thursday. Set to be premiered on BET's106 & Park, the song and music video will kick off a series of eventsleading up to the album's release December 4.
