Ciara: Beyonc is a beast

Ciara says Beyonc Knowles is a beast.

The 27-year-old star has been busy working on her fifth studio album, recently renaming it Ciara. She has discussed fellow chart stars that inspire her, revealing she admires the Bow Down singers success and work ethic.

I have a lot of respect for Beyonc, she told radio station Hot 97. I think shes just an amazing performer. Shes a beast. Shes worked hard to be where she is right now and she deserves all the respect.

While Ciara has nothing but love for Beyonc, she is less enthusiastic about Rihanna. The pair have seemingly been feuding since 2011, when they had a public spat on Twitter. It has been claimed tensions arose when rapper Future wrote Loveeeee Song for Rihanna, before going on to work with Ciara and subsequently date her.

Ciara blames Rihanna for creating drama between them.

I dont know what shes on. Whatever shes on, she can have it, she explained. Im so cool, Im so in my zone right now. Its not that many of us doing what we do. It shouldnt be anything but love. I feel like all of us and what we do is different anyway, so I couldnt understand what the need to create drama would be, but I wish her well.

Ciara also revealed she decided to go public about her relationship with Future because she felt comfortable about her feelings for him.

The R&B singer went on to explain why she changed the title of her new album. While working on the record, she found herself taking an alternative path.

As we were moving along, I started to take a different creative turn. I found some new inspiration along the way, so the One Woman Army movement still exists and its still a part of who I am because it represents my strength and my struggles and my journey, she added. However, the best way for me to title the record at the time period or at this moment was simply Ciara.
