First babies of 2012 born at Chambersburg, Waynesboro hospitals

Ciara Emma-Rose Bard, daughter of Jonathan Bard and Chelsea McClure of Chambersburg arrived at 1:32 a.m. New Years Day in Chambersburg Hospital, making her the first baby born in Franklin County in 2012. She is 21 inches long and weighs 7 pounds 15.3 ounces.

Khameil Emma Rose Wallace, daughter of Richard Jr. and Toni Wallace of McConnellsburg was the first baby born at Waynesboro Hospital in 2012. Nineteen inches long and 7 pounds, 12.2 ounces, she was born at 5:54 p.m. New Years Day.
